they are very similar bags. this question has been asked before - do a search you will find detailed comparisons/features, including

Comparison between Sloane & Pyramid~ Anyone?

Pics for size comparison: Veneta, Ball, Sloane and Pyramid

i have a ferro new pyramid and love her dearly, and i am very attracted to the sloane shape

Ya, now I am in a dilemma deciding whether I should get the Night Sloane on the bay or should wait for a Ferro Sloane to come by....... I know I should not fall from from my banweagon.... but I do want to add a Sloane in my collection "eventually"...

I'd imagine you'd be able to get a Ferro Sloane pretty easily, but at full price.

May be wait a bit till the F/W 09 items are out and see if they've got any color / leather combination that may be of interest to you?

Yes, pcarol, I think that is good advice, but the Night sloane is at around 45% discount after taking into consideration the shipping + tax against the high high Singapore pricing...

I think I will let this drop. I should not buy a bag because it is on sales, I should buy what I absolutely love!!

Both ferro and night are wonderful. Night is pretty much matte black. If you want a staple black bag then night is perfect. It could also qualify as a dark dark grey bag.

Ferro is much different and is a STRICTLY grey bag. It is much lighter and would not qualify as black.

Do get what you absolutely love!

I own a sloane and love it to bits!its actually not boxy at all when you remove the stuffing .it is a very roomy bag but even if you do not have much stuff inside,it doesn't look limp but slouches beautifully.the seamless style and woven rings make this bag classy and luxurious. It is my special days bag!

However I want to get a new pyramid now as it's smaller and more structured.I imagine it to be a good everyday bag.it's more practical but I think sloane is more beautiful.

Pyramid works better for me--not as wide at the base, so it's more comfortable on the shoulder. I like either a zipper or an open top, nothing in between.

I would guess that the Sloane is more popular, however, with most people.

I chose Pyramid, after much agonizing! (Oh it was fun!) Because .. it was big enough (Sloan even bigger), because I liked having a zipper; sometimes you want to zip up. And .. I chose it in spite of metal showing .. I do like the covered rings on S.

I agree with lola and annelovepuggy, my ottone sloane drapes beautifully. Sloane has my vote. Enjoy whatever you choose, BV won't disappoint you.

I so much love Sloane, but it is out of my price range. I would vote for Sloane.
