Angry Hall of Shame - Place for BV Fakes to report
eBay is not removing listings of fakes lately regardless of how many times and by how many people. In spite of the form mailings that they send, eBay does not seem to care, so I am taking a leaf out of LT Bag Lady's book for TODS, and posting them here -so that tPFers can avoid BV fakes.

jburgh, if this is the wrong place, please move, and would you consider making this a sticky, since this will take the place of reporting for me. TIA!

Let's start with the one for which I have personally filed 3 times (and others have, too!) to no avail:

Amazing, Doloresmia! And so did boxermom!

I just received an email response to my complaints to eBay regarding the reporting from a live person. She told me that she adjusted something on my reporting form and that should help, but she is talking about a 48 hour response time. For now, I am going to use this as my way of flagging BV fakes that I see.

AT LAST! The auction is down!!! If you list your suspicious fakes here, I will file again with ebay, and hope that the reps adjustment has made the difference!

Another fake knot:
Item Name: Auth Bottega Veneta Leather signature box clutch
Item No: 390101519936
Seller ID: iwholesale direct2u
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....tchlink:top:en

Reporting to eBay.au will not result in a removal, so avoid like the plague.

Got this from eBay 2 days ago:

Currently we are having some technical difficulties with a couple of reporting topics that you may use to report items. You may have noticed a decrease in the action taken on your reports due to this issue. The topics in question are:

Listing Violations > Counterfeits and copyright violations > Potential trademark infringement > Counterfeit handbags
Listing Violations > Counterfeits and copyright violations > Potential trademark infringement > Counterfeit clothing, shoes, sunglasses and accessories

While we work to resolve this issue we would like to request that you use the following topics instead when reporting counterfeit items:

Listing Violations > Counterfeits and copyright violations > Potential trademark infringement > Other replica or counterfeit items

Reporting under this topic will ensure that your reports will be reviewed and appropriate action will be taken.

Thank you for your cooperation and you assistance with increasing safety for the eBay Community!

Default Be wary of this seller who trades in iOffer & eBay
For the whole ugly truth, read and discern for yourselves:-

http://www.ioffer.com/offer_transact...e_id=232148341

PAYPAL confirmed that there was no refund EVER made to the buyer.

FYI-Seller is currently still active on eBay. However, should one opt to pay via PAYPAL the following are noteworthy:-

Details as follow on iOffer:
Merchant: April Krasner
Charge will appear on your credit card statement as 'PAYPAL *APRILSHOWER'
User ID of Seller: lisasworld1970 (13)
Seller's Email Address: x
Seller's Name: x
Seller's Address: x

This frightens me. The fakers can reproduce details very well. At least I would know to tell people to avoid ioffer. authenticating from photos is becoming so difficult.

It's not just iOffer, boxermom! Please note that this seller is also active on eBay (more so now) given they know after the complaint & dispute lodged with the relevant authorities/organisations bent on cramping down on internet related crimes, that they are being closely monitored. It's just a matter of time Satan's spawn will start to seek other avenues with their con scams should their funds in PAYPAL be frozen for whatever investigative measures already set in place. This is not an isolated case of fraud but I am certain many dishonest sellers lurk in cyberspace getting their kicks just preying on the innocent. Please given you have a great fan following, save your fellow TPF-ers the heartache, remorse & inconvenience!

The operatives have multiple IDs and that is why the people tasked to see to the investigations are collating a list of probable suspects as we speak. They (sellers) obviously migrated from iOffer back to eBAY where they originally are based as there are sightings of the similar goods having been offered making appearances on eBAY.
