Crabtreemeeko - is your veneta on sale in HK? If so, I need to ask my sister to get it!

hey Crabtreemeeko, just curious, is BV popular in HK? When I went back to HK I usually only see people holding LV and Gucci...seems not a lot of people are into this brand in hk?

Hello lemontart, there are many hongkies who are into BV and alot more who loves LV and GUCCI, especially the latter. You can see many gals carrying GUCCI bags, especially the monogram range.
Actually I find it better this way, its more an exclusive brand, not so mass market. |

Hi is it possible to call up the Paris store and arrange for a BV bag to be shipped to Singapore? I read in an earlier post that BV would charge 200 euros to ship to Singapore so it sounds possible.
What is the price of the BV Campana Medium in Camel in HK? It's S$3320 (about US$2196 and Eur 1588) in Singapore. Thanks! |

Belleepoque, that's what I want to know too -- is it cheaper to order from Paris and ship to the U.S.?

^^ I think its possible but you'd have to factor in shipping cost and local taxes too (when you import in). It differs when you shop in Europe as a tourist and pay no taxes at all (whether in Europe or your home country when you return, unless you bought a truck load).

^ I think the savings is minimal for you crabtreemeeko. HK is already one of the lowest in prices. Though you don't get hit by any taxes at all, you do have to pay for shipping.

The state tay is already included in the end prices and the prices are identical in Germany and Austria (besides, we only have retailers that carry a small selection of BV, no BV boutique), so it would only depend on the tax refund percentage for non-EU-residents and that is not only depending on the country but also on the company used for the refunds. LV in Austria uses Global Refund and the customers receive a refund of 11.5% while VAT is 20% while Chanel and Gucci use another company and the customers do get a refund of 14%.

C_24 - Thanks for info. I did noticed that Gucci uses a different company but didn't know that the refund was higher percentage. I guess Global Refund charges more for their service.
