Hi kipp,
I live in Spain, and the cost is a little less I think than in the states, and you can have the tax off!. I have the prefall catalog, if you want any price of it, I can PM you the prices. The best SAs I have known are in Cannes ( France) and Puerto banus ( Spain). wich cities are you visiting?

Thank you, newbaglover! I will be in Barcelona, Paris, and Venice. :-)
Haven't decided yet on what I might want... too new to BV at the moment!

^FYI, there are only 2 stores in Spain - Madrid and Puerto Banus. None in Barcelona.

I was in Korea the past week and was surprised that BV prices at the airport (duty free) were quite good! They were even lower than US prices and in some cases, lower or equivalent to HK prices back in 2007 (per the quoted list below). This must be due to the recent devaluation of the Korean Won to the US Dollar.

(Order: Korea duty free price vs. US price w/o tax vs. 2007 HK price no tax)

Medium Veneta = US$1490 vs. US$1550 vs. US$1520
Large Veneta = US$1800 vs. US$1950 vs. US$1804
Med Campana = US$18xx vs. US$1980
Cervo Hobo = US$1300 vs. US$1380

On top of this, they're giving an additional 5% discount of everything in the store (F/W 2009) so you you'd still need to deduct this from the Korea price. It's not an official sale but I guess they're trying to clear as much inventory as possible. Mind you, these are current F/W bags so they're not old inventory at all. They also had the Sloane, Roma, Montaigne, Maxi Veneta, 3-way bag, tornabuoni line, Bella, etc but I didn't ask the price. No Cruise 2010 though.

If you apply the discount, the Med Veneta becomes US$1415, Large Veneta US$1710, Med Campana US$17xx, Cervo Hobo $1235. No tax imposed since these prices are at the airport.

Just sharing in case anyone plans on going there anytime soon.
