Hey girls,

I'm planning to go to Croatia sometime in the summer, anyone know if the prices are going to be much different than the US?

Also, since there might be a sale end of June/beg of July, does that make up the difference (if any)?

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how much a large Veneta costs in Singapore? Would Bottega be cheaper in Italy?

I'm sure that BV will have a sale soon but I figured that classics like the Veneta will not be on sale.

yes tell me about it! i was in singapore 2 years ago and i got the chanel lucky symbols or whatever its called and paid about 2800 sing dollars.. and when i came back to dubai it was 4000 dirhams which is about 1700ish sg dollars! i felt so ripped off! and the same happened to me with YSL, i paid 1000 sg$ more in singapore than i would have in Dubai! im keeping my purchases to the uae and paris to be honest! the UAE is actually one of the cheaper places to buy bags because the prices are almost identical to Paris. Especially Chanel!

It seems there is another price increase after July 2007 in the UK. I read that the medium veneta ws 755 pounds then but today I checked and it's 845 pounds now. The large Campana is 1275 pounds.

We go to Italy almost twice a year and for the Italian brands like Gucci, BV, Fendi and Ferragamo, I find it cheaper there than in Hong Kong or Singapore. A large Veneta costs about US$300 cheaper than US retail stores and there's still 12% tax refund at the airport. The designer outlet complex in Florence sells 60% lower than retail before tax refund.

Does anyone know how BVs are priced in Spain as compared with Paris & Milan? My sis is going to be based there for a while so if the price is good I may be tempted to ask her to get something for me.

Interesting thread. I just got back from the store in Kiev, Ukraine, where I tried on Veneta and Ball (new design). I forgot to ask the price of Veneta, which I did not like as it felt too wide but Ball in red (carmino) was 13,250 UAH which is about $2,760 or 1,760 EUR. No discount on seasonal colors as of yet. I should be in Moscow, Russia, in a week or two and will try to make it to one of BV stores but normally luxury goods are a bit cheaper there. The same bag that I tried on today has a MSRP of $2,350 plus tax in the States and is currently on sale for $1,649.

After reading your posts I am seriously considering going to Florence for a long week-end in couple weeks. I always wanted to go to Florence to see Duomo but now I have an extra incentive.

but i think luxury goods are more expensive in russia than in italy. it definitely is cheaper in italy to get bv, even with the weak dollar. you just save less! :P
