Yea for sure...I think because you know you'll be the only one or one of the very few with it, the purchase is that much more exciting

Several members have asked me how to place a special order with BV. I will outline the steps below.

1. Contact your Bottega Veneta sales associate with your request. Make sure to have the model and leather information.
2. Your sales associate will send this information to the creative direction team (i.e. Tomas Maier) for approval.
3. Your sales associate will also send the information to Italy to check on the availability of materials.
4. In about 2-3 weeks you will get approval or rejection of your special order as well as a cost.
5. Provided you are approved, you will pay (non-refundable) 1/2 as a down payment.
6. Production will be scheduled in Italy. You will get an estimated completion date. Item could take 4-6 months, depending on many factors.
7. When your SO is ready, you will be asked to pay the balance and item will be shipped to you.

The Crochet Raffia Bag---I'm not the one who made the special order, but I have this bag now. Maybe others would like to see pics for reference if any pop up on *bay. It's soft as silk and incredibly roomy. Not the easiest style to unzip, though. That's the only drawback I've found.

estonis, I hope it comes in on time! It's a very different style for BV. Obviously Jennifer Aniston, who could buy any bag, loves it--she's worn it so many times.
