Ah, thanks for the help. For the 2nd bag, the seller replies:
the serial # is
115654 v0013 7501 I'm unable to make changes to any of my auctions at this point..so no pictures sorry.

Seller could've emailed extra photos; could've added to the listing but didn't want to pay a little extra for a couple extra pics. I think this bag is probably about 3 years old and is authentic. There was a color called cognac that looked orange to me and this could be from that season.

Just a personal note: why don't sellers include photos of the interior tags and names for potential buyers to examine?

Hi ladies. Please authenticate this BV. It's a huge bag but I like it.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...:X:RTQ:US:1123

Actually, I am torn between this bag and this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/BOTTEGA-VENETA-C...QQcmdZViewItem

This cocker is one of a kind and for me one of the most beautiful bags in the world. The price is just beyond my means at the moment. With this price, I can already go to the BV shop and enjoy the luxury of shopping. But it's really calling me ...

Thanks

I've requested him to email it, once he did, what should I look for in the tag?

If you can, post the photo so we can look at the tag edges, thickness--I know it sounds silly, but real BV white tags have a certain look.

I'm fairly certain this is a real BV Veneta.

1. Probably authentic, but ask seller to provide a clear pic of the stamped name inside (the font). Nothing appears to be off on this bag, however.

2. You know the drill: seller should provide clear pics of the font and the authenticity tag. Again this looks like a Cocker should--the handle is correct and that's one thing the fakers usually get wrong on this style.

Both look good but you want to be sure. Did you notice the feedback % on seller of the first bag? That's pretty low. I examined it and didn't really see why it's so low.

MNS--do your bags have the white authenticity tags inside or a different style?
Yes, the authenticity tags are inside the inside pocket with one side of numbers being white and the other side which says Bottega Veneta being brown like we've seen in the older bags.

Thanks, boxermom. For seller 2, she got few feedbacks and to have 1 or 2 negatives make it low. I saw that her negative feedbacks are more for defective CDs (according to buyers) she sent. I have to ask her for the stamping on the leather. There seems none from afar through the photos in the description. But it's difficult to see.

The pieces don't fit for me. Can anyone else offer opinions/information?
Thanks boxermom and MNS for looking at it. I love purple, I have an ottone BV belt with purple undertones, which is an amazing color. I think I may skip this one, as I feel uncomfortable with the lining too. Also, I'd like a larger bag in this color.

Question
Oh, and this too? Seller's pics are blurry but I've asked for clearer ones. But just in case these pics are sufficient. TIA!!
