Ok, I'll bite, Vlad... or anyone -- because I am confused! Why did our last Authenticate this BV thread close, and this one open?

Thanks, in advance for an explanation,... I am a little slow, I guess...

Ooops the other thread got closed before I got the opportunity to post a reply so I'll just post here. Thanks so much boxermom and Baggiana for your authentication help!

Now I'm just waiting to hear back from the other seller for the additional photo of the certificate with numbers.

I think the threads get too big and start to be unstable, but you could fit my knowledge about technology on the head of a pin so what do I know?!?

Dear All,

I got a bit worried when I received this item which I won on Ebay this morning and would appreciate if someone could verify its authenticity. The bid has ended and I'm not sure if this link would work?

The stamping on the chain looks a little funny and that's what arouse my suspicion and also there's no BV stamp, label or whatsoever inside the leather pouch. The care card label that came with it with the model no. is handwritten 156402 V4641 6200. TIA!

It's hiding down admidst the other threads
it's closed, but I think we can still refer to it, although it may become hard to find among all of the other threads
could we keep it up top with the stickies? It is really useful!

Wow! And I just got an earlier edition of the duette in gold intrecciato! Huge and gorgeous, and I am a python addict - do I need 2???

OK, needs a picture of the authenticity tag, front and back, as well as a picture of the metal plate without glare. Seller states Nw/oT, but says barely touched... this should be clarified.

The link works. I believe that this was discussed in the last edition, see the link that I have provided above, and read through the last 10 pages. Unfortunately, I am not very familiar with BV small goods, like this. Can you show us a picture of the stamping on the metal? If it is not authentic, you can file with eBay and paypal. Let's see what other think... Can anyone else help?

I remember saying the photos didn't show enough to tell if it's authentic or not. I've never seen this item before (doesn't mean the style isn't something BV has made), but I'd think there would be a white tag and a stamped font inside.

Is there any way you can get a clear photo of the printing on the chain? Sorry I can't be of more help.

Please forgive me if I am doing this wrong... it is my first post! I am trying to find out what the style name of this Bottega bag. A client has asked me to sell it, but without all the details, I worry that authenticity will be questioned and I won't be able to do the bag justice! It looks like a hobo, but opens wide to look similar to a duffel.
Thank you for any input/ help!

Can you post clear pics of the stamped name font inside, front and back of any authenticity tag inside, and the name of the zipper? A pic of the interior helps, too. any idea how old the bag is?
