Default Journal of Metallic Wear: Before/After
I have decided to compare my op cabat with some old pictures to see how well it has aged, and the result is...very well! The skin has become very soft and slouchy, yet sturdy. It now behaves more like a piece of luxurious woven brocade or molten metallic sheet. Keep in mind that it has gone through considerable uses, such as airport travels, subway/train rides, brushing through crowded NYC streets, and extensive daily usage. The only visible wear is the slight rubbing on the handles, which undetectable under lights. I hope this helps people who are considering BV metallics but have been too cautious to take the plunge!

Handle wears, don't confuse reflection/flash with rubbing...

I'm used to the weight now...I consider this training for the arrival of my 40cm clemence birkin, whenever it comes...however, since I mostly wear it on my shoulders, my biceps remain underdeveloped lol...

foxie - is the black parts of the handles that are wearing out or the actual metallic color?
