I don't know how any of these protectant products compare to one another, but I believe I've read on other tpf threads that saddle soap can actually be harmful to purse leathers. The skins and dyes are not the same as what is used on real saddles, so I wouldn't advise saddle soap.
I posted above after carrying my White Grommet Veneta for about a month about how soft and scrumptious it was getting. Now I can say that I've been carrying my Crimson Veneta for about a month and I would say the very same thing -- it gets softer and more scrumptious every day! The color is even beginning to develop a depth and warmth I don't think it had at first. I would never want to put anything on it that would interfere with its natural, beautiful, aging process. |
