I'm having trouble deciding what to do with this purse. If you've read the "Not Happy with First Botkier" thread, you'll know the first one I received had stains on it and it was generally a disappointing experience... BUT I stared at it again as I was packing the box up to return it and I was thinking, maybe I do like it (argh, hate it when I'm indecisive )... so, the question is - get a refund or get a replacement? Could you girls tell me what you think of it? It'll help me decide.

Edit - I think one of the contributing factors to my indecisiveness is the fact that this bag seems to be sold out everywhere... even botkier.com has taken it off their website! :\

Honestly, I love this bag, especially in that color. And if the leather is anything like the leather on my Bianca (read: amazing) I wouldn't hesitate to get a replacement. Yellow is such a happy color, and I think it is beautiful for sping, summer, fall - even imagine it in winter with a tailored pea coat? Lovely pop of color!

I don't want to talk you into a bag you are only so-so about, but I realllly love it. Pesky ban!

Botkier has the most amazing leathers, this bag reminds me of my large Btyand Hobo bags which I love! If I hadn't gotten the LP marigold Dylan Bowler, I would totally get this one! hmm...

I agree in keeping the bag. It's really adorable and to be perfectly honest - timeless. It's not too trendy where you couldn't wear it for years to come but still hot enough to where you're sporting an it bag. I think if you keep it you won't be disappointed. But, if you do not love it - find something you do!

Ok, thanks everyone!

If I did get it replaced, and then realized I couldn't afford it or whatever, I could always sell it on eBay, right? I checked and there's only one other vixen satchel on ebay right now... All I'd be interested in is getting my money back, so... hopefully that would be possible?

If you're already thinking about getting rid of it then you probably don't really want it. LOL. Get something you really want, silly!

But yes, if it came down to it I am sure you could eBay it - but why put yourself through the hassle?

True, true... lol. I just hate taking stuff back and then regretting it later!

I think the bag is really cute. I'm in the same dilemma as you, however, with another bag I bought. I got a really good deal, and you can't find it anywhere. I'm looking at a few other handbags that I love even more, but I only have so much money to go around. Since the bags I buy are not cheap, I think I've come to the conclusion that I need to invest in handbags that I really LOVE.

Ok, so, I ultimately ended up returning it. I figured it was best, since I've also bought a Kooba, a Tylie Malibu, and a Coach in the past 3 weeks... Couldn't justify to myself buying all those and keeping the Botkier.

...But in a couple of weeks I'll have forgotten about those purchases and will be free to (hopefully) find and buy the vixen on eBay.

My thought is don't keep it unless you're in love with it. I really like it though and was eying the hobo. How is it weight wise? That is typically my issue with Botkiers.
