No pics but it was awesome - though a madhouse. Was there at 5:30, not another soul till 8. Got a sample Marine patent large Sasha duffle ($150) and sample silver large Sasha duffle ($100) and a yellow sample Lita hobo for my mom ($150). Wanted the gunmetal Zoe satchel - they had lots of the totes, but only champagne in the satchel.

They were a bit annoying about the "only hold 3 bags" rule, to the extent that I had three, leaned over to touch another and had someone say, "you know, you can only hold three." But the people there were so nice - gave us water and umbrellas to block the sun while we were waiting this morning. Yay Botkier peeps!

I'd definitely say run upstairs first to grab the sample sample stuff, then back down at leisure.

Racked has a good rundown - and a teeny picture showing bags with prices.

Well, it's really just my paranoia. I decided to stay out all night and make an event of it, so I went to a cafe with a friend and did some stuff for work, drank a lot of coffee. . . I'd heard enough horror stories to not want to be third or fourth and get edged out on something I wanted, or to get caught way back in line and take forever to check out, 'cause I had to go to work.

Well worth it though! And it was kind of a cool adventure.

Wow, they didn't have the marine duffle when I was there yesterday and my friends and I ransacked that table. I would have loved to get one of those. I'm glad that they were restocking the samples. Congrats on that sashas.

Thanks!

I really wanted a gunmetal zoe satchel, but I though the price on the zoe satchel was high for the sale, and they only had the champagne - which was good, because its saved me from having to decide whether to pay that much for the gunmetal.

Nothing I already had was there, which was great - no sadness. I even picked up the burgundy Sasha, felt the leather, and thought "not as soft as the jean" and put her back.

I am very proud of myself. Must now resist the pull to go back in the lame idea that more samples will come in.

Any medium lambskin Biancas (not patent) at the sale? I might be interested in going if so. Can anyone confirm?

There were alot of blue (patent?) biancas at the sale - they looked like a medium size? Sorry I'm not very familiar with the Botkier line.

I saw black, white, and blue patent bianca clutches yesterday. I swear, that sale is driving me to distraction.
