Default Received my 1st Botkier..glazed black Logan and I don't like it at all
Well, I was so excited to get this bag. Then, I opened the box and I felt nothing. I guess it's because of the brass hardware. The glazed black leather also takes away from the bag. I wish it was black with silver hardware. Oh well, the hunt begins again I guess.

I don't personally own the Logan, but I have to agree that the brass hardware cheapens the overall look. Sorry to hear you don't like your bag!!

I love my black Logan shopper, including the brass hardware (which I find more versatile than silver or gold) but sorry to hear it didn't work for you.

The navy blue is a beautiful bag. I really needed a black bag though...

Oh no, so sorry to hear that the bag didn't work out for you... If your issue with the bag is just with the hardware, though, and you like the style just fine, maybe you could keep an eye out for future reissues of the Logan? I believe Botkier definitely changes hardware colours with different reissues of a bag in the same colour (e.g. black Triggers with silver or gold hardware), so if the Logan is reissued in a future season, it could come with silver or gunmetal hardware instead. Good luck in the search!

(Oh, BTW, I believe the navy Logan actually has gunmetal hardware, not silver. It primarily looks like gunmetal in the close-up pics I've seen...)

i'm so sorry you don't like the logan (i have the logan satchel in the distressed black) and wow!! i've been using mine all week and LOVE it. i switch bags every few weeks. i was just marvelling at the look all day yesterday (reminds me of balenciaga at a fraction of the price with more style). and the side pockets...i like the brass hardware, understated. i've had mine for about a month and the leather is softening but either way, i love mine. awww....i'm sorry you didn't enjoy yours!

Sorry that the logan didn't work out for you. I hope I can get myself one in the burgundy. Still haven't seen it in person yet.

Default Logan black leather question
Hey there- thanks, ziggycat, for the nice shot of you and your Logan! Mine is on it's way, in the mail as I type!!!

It is funny, this bag really did not call out to me for a couple of months. Every image I saw of it looked different from the last, so I felt like I was also never getting a truly good picture of what it looked like. Once I finally found a decent photo, I was in loooove! Then, out of nowhere, I found a surprise deal on Amazon! One in stock only of the N/S satchel in distressed black and I jumped on it!!

Now, as I read over this thread, I'm realizing that I am getting a slightly different bag than the OP- very sorry yours didn't work out, but I'm thinking (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong) you had the glazed leather, I am getting the distressed. Is that right? If so, I'm imagining that the antique brass hardware pick might pair better with the distressed. With a "shinier" finish I would want shiny hardware.

Hope I am happy with my Logan IRL- will have to share a pic when it arrives!

^Thanks danishchair! The black Logan leather is distressed and glazed. But it's not super shiny, and it's nice and soft still. I love the subtlety of the brass hardware and I think it matches the leather nicely, just kind of vintagey (is that a word?) and cool. Hope you love yours!

Try it in another leather. I'm a huge Botkier fan but I don't love the glazed black. On the other hand...my regular black Botkier trigger is amaaaaazing.
