I bought a Botkier Prince e/w satchel in the green python embossed leather for my birthday in May. It was beautiful, love the shape and style and how it got less stiff but still structured, but have a big problem with the leather!

It has been flaking off and the leather underneath is picking up color from my jeans. It has been for awhile now (probably noticed in November for the first time?) and one of the button snaps broke somehow. I am not particularly rough on my bags, though I did wear this one every day for a few weeks. No idea how the button broke, I hardly even use the pocket that it closes. I am just frustrated because this beautiful bag is now looking hagrid after not even a year.

It has been so long now that I don't think anything can be done about it and other than carrying it less, not sure what I can do.

anyone else have problems with python leather? tips/tricks?
