Hello Botkier ladies! I'm usually in Coach, LV, MJ, or RM, but I stumbled upon the Botkier sale, and wondered if it was time for me to get a Botkier? The only bag that struck my fancy (slightly), was the Gladiator Tote in Nero (i.e. black). It's under $300, which is pretty great, considering it originally retailed at $695.

What do you Botkier fans think of it? I was mainly going to use it as a work tote or to look professional. Would it be suitable for an interview? That's my main concern, as I don't have a nice, black, structured tote for interviewing.

I was just looking at that tote myself! Great minds....

I think it's a classic tote that will stand the test of time. It's logo-less (which I think is way more appropriate than taking a bag with logos all over it to job interviews), the leather looks nice and rich and the hardware is nice and understated.

need opinions: gladiator tote or satchel? i can't decide...

I haave the Botkier Gladiator in the satchel in white. I really like it and intead on using it as one of my summer bags. I got it for a song at the after holiday sales. I like that it zips securely as I'm in NY and Philly a lot and appreciate the security~heck, even in my own home town. I was never one for the open bag concept.

Both bags are great and I'm sure you will love it no matter what you pick. If I knew how to post pics here~I would post one of mine. :)
