Oh no!! So sorry to hear that! There should be some possible methods to soak up oil from the leather. You should definitely try searching the forums for methods or recommendations. (They usually involve stuff like cornflour or other powders, I think? Search first!!)

Beyond that, it probably depends on the extent of the damage and how much grease is left (if you're able to soak up any). Lovin My Bags is usually highly recommended for their ability to restore damage to leather bags, but they're also pretty pricey. That's probably the last resort, I guess.

I'm not sure what else you can try in between, but I think the first step is definitely to try and see if you can soak up the oil stain. Hope you're able to find one of the threads that deals with this! Good luck!

ETA: Here's one link that I found: CARE and FEEDING of LINEA PELLE. The recommendation there is specific to LP leathers, though, which are washed lambskin leathers and quite different from Botkier leathers. The bit about soaking up the oil stain should still apply, though. HTH!

Lovin my bags has a "hints and tips" section, where they say "If you get oil on your handbag, put corn starch on it immediately. Rub it in to absorb the oil. Use a light source to create heat for faster absorption of the oil into the cornstarch. Brush off with a soft toothbrush or cloth". If what you get on this forum from searching doesn't work (which I think is about the same), maybe you can call them for more advice? good luck!
