Hi, This is my first Botkier, and I must say that I love her & that she won't be my last. It's been a very hard year, so I decided to splurge a little on myself. She arrived on Friday, so I decided to wait and open her up today for my b-day. Hope this helps you gals out there who have been on the fence about getting this bag. My advice is get her she is Gorgeous. IMHO

This is just the auction link (pics of the bag are here) I just can't seem to transfer my new pics that I took, so I guess these pics will have to do till then sorry

I just bought this bag in the persimmon color. You got a way better deal than I did. I caved because I wanted it so much! I can hardly wait for it to get here.

!!@#$! I just went out to the Bloomingdales site and they have the Stevie on sale for $330! I paid $500. I kept looking for a better sale. Just my luck.. I waited and waited and 3 days after I take the plunge it is on sale for such a good price! Kicking myself yet again!

Just out of curiosity, why do they call it "convertible"? Just because of the extra shoulder strap? I bought it last night on the Bloomies site in black (for 40% off, which came to about $332), but not sure if I will keep it. Does it seem pretty large?

Dont feel bad we all do that, at some point, & I'm sure you'll love it. I saw the persimmon last night at that price on bloomies), but didnt have the funds at this time. So I'm kicking myself too.

The convertible part is because of the strap. Which I happen to think is great. They have two different versions of this bag. One in my opinion is more structured and boxy looking, this is not the convertible. That one only has the short handles therefore limiting the way you carry it too holding it in your hand or in the crook of your arm.

The Convertible Has a detachable strap, so that you can either choose to use it as a shoulder bag or remove it. Therefore making it convertibla HTH

The size is substantial without looking overwhelming. Its a nice size

That is my favorite bag in the current line. I really want it in the champagne color. I think they call it glazed taupe? Anyway, Congratulations! It's gorgeous!

I was almost prepared to buy the Stevie in the Hobo version. I had even offered a Best offer. I'm glad it was turned down. I wanted it in the Taupe but after searching past auctions I saw a worn Stevie in Taupe where the metallic had worn off in bug chunks making the bag look like it had balding patches all over it. That turned me off that metallic Taupe quick. This bag hasn't been out that long so it wasn't years of wear. I want more than a year before the finish of my bag wears off.
