Gladiator Small Shoulder Bag - In Black

Hi,

I am currently looking for a nice little evening bag that isn't too frilly that will work with a dress or pants (casual or dressy) and have thought about the Botkier Gladiator Small Shoulder Bag in black. It can be found at the Botkier website.

Please let me know your opinions. Do any of you have the bag? Also, I noticed several places have Botkier bags on sale from time to time. Is it worth waiting for a sale? I always appreciate a good deal!

Hi lula_bernie! Welcome to TPF! I do not know enough about this bag to give you any advice. However, regarding your question about waiting for a sale....some people here had a problem with Botkier.com during their last sale. Here is the link. We do have a master list of online retailers wonderfully started by FrankieP. Definitely check out the sites there for a sale. Happy shopping!

I ended up getting this bag - in the white patent.

What is it they say about a woman's prerogative to change their minds? I guess I will be using it as a Spring/Summer going out bag.

I am curious, did anyone else ever end up getting this bag? revolveclothing.com has it in a new color called Cognac and my local Nordstrom still has it in Snake.
