Exclamation Complete and total impulse buy! Did I make a mistake??

I have wanted to try the Botkier brand for a very long time now. Up until this point all the majority of my bags were Coach. However, I am a true leather lover and do not have any of their signature bags, except for my very first one. Anyways, I have ventured into a Cole Haan Village Bucket tote, a Hayden Harnett and a Marc by Marc Jacobs and love them all, particularly the Marc Jacobs as the leather is just so luscious. While browsing the Deals and Steals forum, I noticed that Neiman Marcus has an extra 25% off on their sale bags and I found a Nomad satchel for $346.50 with free shipping to Canada!!! This is unheard of for any website. So with duties and taxes, both unavoidable, my total came to $420. What do you think? Did I make a good purchase or did I make a mistake. I already have a huge black tote and a black hobo but I thought that the Nomad satchel was different enough from these two. What do you guys think of the Nomad? Is it a good quality bag? How is the leather? I am so incredibly nervous even though I know that I can return it. Is this a good bag to begin my venture into Botkier? Please give my your thoughts/ease my mind. Thanks!!

I have 3 botkiers...2 Bianca's and 1 Bombay Tote. I love BOTKIERS...they are really nice and edgy. I think Botkiers are best in satchels but you made a great deal because they are hard to come by on sale. Congrats!

Check out the thread on the Morgan posted by Megs...it is a lovely purse!

Thanks guys! Now I am nervously excited and anticipating the bag. I will post pics for you when it arrives and let you know how I feel about it. Thanks for reassuring me!

Nomad was my first Botkier, too! I bought it on a total impulse as well, but it turns out to be one of my most used bags. The style is so unique, I can almost guarantee I won't see anyone around with it...the leather is a little soft and very smooth, and I haven't experienced any rubbing off from the bronze color of mine. & the best thing is that it can fit a TON. I just throw whatever I need in there! Just lats night, I went to the movies and snuck in food (shhh), and I fit FOUR personal pan pizza boxes along with all my things! (they weren't all mine.) It's a very versatile bag, and I hope you love it.

Four hot pizzas must be the bravest things one can sneak into a movie. Did the ticket taker think it was your perfume ? Do your friends buy your admission when you carry 'the goods' ? I am amazed !

I LOVE my Nomad. It's a great bag. I bought mine one eBay last year for 260.00. It was right after a Sample Sale and scads of Bots were on ebay for good prices. This is the coolest of bags and I hope you love it.
