Default Botkier Trigger Clyde Tote?
Hi, what's the difference between Trigger and Trigger Clyde Tote? TC has an extra shoulder strap, anything else?

Size-wise, I think the Clyde is a little longer, probably due to the additional side pockets (with the drawstring ruching). The strap drop on the Clyde is shorter too. The Clyde looks like it has just the one main compartment, but the Trigger has got three (the centre zip compartment, and the front and back compartments/extremely large pockets secured by magnets). Don't take my word on the Clyde's main compartment, though! I'm not quite sure, but I think those should be the main differences. HTH!

Yeah, the Clyde is a little longer and the extra strap is there to compensate for the shorter drop on the handle. The Clyde is also not as "fat" (from front to back) as the Trigger. It's more similar in size as the trigger east/west satchel, which has been discontinued. the e/w satchel had 2 main compartments, but I'm not sure about the Clyde.

here's a pic of the e/w

^^^

Exactly. The Clyde has 1 large main compartment while the Trigger has the divider to make two large and 1 middle zippered compartment. Clyde is a little longer and not as deep, and the Trigger is a little boxier. HTH!

Oh, just to add, I'm using ShopBop's pics of the Clyde, which show just the one main compartment: http://www.shopbop.com/trigger-clyde...-brand-viewall

Huh, didn't know the E/W satchel had 2 compartments! I honestly thought it was just an alternative name for the Clyde. Good to know, thanks for posting that, acschjenn!

Thank you. I had both Trigger & Clyde in Black in my shopping cart in ShopBop, but looks like I lost the trigger :(

Oh no, I hope that wasn't me!! I got the Black Trigger, but I could've sworn that it was still in stock when I visited the page again after checking out. It went pretty soon after that, though. So sorry you missed it. If it's meant to be, you'll find one at a good price!

(I had a Black Trigger in my cart at another site too, but took too long deciding on that one. This ShopBop one worked out better for me, in fact, because of the free international shipping and because I had a gift certificate for a small amount, so I'm sure bag karma will find you a Trigger that's meant for you! )

that's okay, probably a good thing for me and my wallet anyway. ShopBop is the way to go for me too since the shipping is always free and I pay no tax (we pay 9.75% as of today). Hope you like your Trigger

No prob. I have this in the pewter luxe. I love it! Wish they brought it back :P Just to add to the description, it's 2 compartments with a zippered compartment in the middle. And it doesn't have the side pockets that the Clyde does. I like the clyde too though. Anything in the trigger family really

I just bought a black Trigger on sale at Nordstrom - they still had another one. I have always loved this style, and finally pulled the trigger Ha!

Is this the same bag Lindsay Lohan has? Or she has a regular trigger?
