haha :) gunmetal gunmetal!! :) but of course some ladies love their white bags
i just cant do it i would get it dirty,,,,but whatever floats your boat i agree i saw the black with the gold hardware and it wasnt for me, i wear silver and white gold jewelry for the most part and the silver hardware def. looks better! :) I really love that although the gunmetal is black at heart haha it isnt a true black and we all own so many basic black bags, or if you dont you just find them boring, but this is like a great variation on that :) Just my personal feelings of course and size, i didnt even know there was a small i thought there was just a cluth and a med and large i think the med, is the perfect size! i can just carry a wallet and keys and a bottle of water or soemthing and its perfect or i can load it full with my planner, a book, wallet keys sidekick everything and still it never looks stuffed and feels great I was thinking of the large im glad i didnt get it , it def would have been way TOO big! leet us know what you choose and pics as soon as you can! :) ~bess |

Bessie -- So the gunmetal has silver hardware? I couldn't really tell from the pics but that does sound nice!
I saw the small size on the Botkier website (available in nude snakeskin, concord, rust, and navy) and I think Active Endeavors has it in rust only. I believe it's priced at $495. I'm really leaning towards the bone, but am a little nervous myself about keeping it clean...Do you think that treating it with Scotch-gard or something would be okay? |

Hey girl, yes the gunmetal has silver hardware ! :) i am going to send pictures LATEST tonight 7pm but ill try to do it before i get off to class around 11 am so you can see better :)
I checked out the bone, and its REALLY pretty its just the dirty thing! :) I mean its a very slouchy bag so its not like you can depend on the tiny feet to protect the leather really at all, and because its so slouchy i could just see it flopping onto something dirty just for an instant and that being SO upsetting,,,,,, I mean of course whatver suits you best i just know i cant do white cause i worry too much there is a thread here actually White leather bag dilemma all about a white leather bag dilema and if its worth spending a lot on a white leather bag that has potential to get dirty :) check it out scotch guard i really dont know i actually never spray anything on any of my bags, not a waterproofer, nothing im too scared it will mess up the leather or change the bag in some way, and on a white bag i would be scared if it did change it a little it would SHOw a lot, OR that it might discolor?? i dunno maybe someone who does treat their bags can shed some light! :) ? |

Let us know which color and size you get...
I'm debating this too since I can't find the small in the color I want... don't want to take back the medium in case I can't find the small. Also, Botkier just released more bags (Sasha and Trigger) as well as belts on the website this week. I have a cataloge and in March Botkier is releasing more bags in March. They have a structured satchel bag with patent leather trim that I'm thinking about... |

The Botkier website now has the Bianca small in bone! Now, if only I could compare the small and medium side by side...Neiman's is the only Botkier retailer near my home and the SA keeps telling me no small size exists (even after I informed her it's available on the Botkier site!)
Also, found this on the Botkier website "Info" page: Care of bags Botkier Handbags are made of beautiful Italian leather. Grain and slight differences of color are characteristics of the leather. The leather is natural, untreated (in most cases), and can spot and sometimes lose color. Particular care is recommended for Laminate colors (metallic) because contact with lacquer, perfume, and anything containing alcohol and derivatives can cause damage. As with all quality leather they should be treated with a weatherproof protection and care. |
