Hmmm. That is weird. The bag definitely looks good (the first picture is a stock photo, but the others look authentic), and I don't think the style has even been faked, but you're right that the prices are different. I would try asking the seller and seeing how they explain it. Maybe someone else is more familiar with the style - could it be that bag is from last season and the price has gone up since then?

Ok....I've sent a question to the seller regarding the price difference between retail, what they have listed in the title of the auction, and the picture of the tag clearly reading $575

Honestly, it's times like these where I just want to say forget it and purchase from an authentic and reputable store.

Thank you! I have become a real Botkier fan (among other designers). I like that Bryant. It does look like a good every day bag.

You might want to check around some other online retailers if this one doesn't work out, because there are a lot of discounts floating around. You can get 20% off the Botkier website right now with the code BOTKIERF20. That makes the bag $6 more than what the sellers' buy it now price is, and tax/shipping probably work out to about the same.

It will be interesting to hear what the seller has to say. I feel confident that the bag in the pictures is authentic, and the seller has good feedback selling other bags that look legit, but I always worry about little details not matching up. A seller who is good about answering questions makes me a lot more willing to bid (and one who won't answer questions is a red flag).

I haven't heard back from that seller regarding the price tag difference. Raises some eyebrows and sends up some red flags....I dunno.

I've seen the 7th on Sale auction and I think it's a great idea...maybe that will work out.

Thanks for the code for Botkier....I just might order from them afterall. I'm torn between getting one from their regular line or limited eds....I like the "Jean" color....but black is always classic and goes with everything.

I'll keep you posted and I'll check out other on-line stores as well. Thanks for the advice.
