Authenticate This Botkier

I was not familiar with the style from the one picture you posted earlier to be able to give much advice, but I would say the best thing to do is to post several pictures of the bag here showing the things you're describing, and hopefully someone here familiar with the style can help. It's hard to give much advice about authenticity based on a verbal description.

The Bryant is real. I'm not familiar enough with the other style to say one way or the other.

Here are some images of the bag I bought that I think is fake. Tell me what you think. I am posting pics of the zipper which is not like the other zippers, covered in leather, a pic of the botkier sign which is usually either embossed or on a plaque mounted on leather and the zipper pull. Tell me what you think. This bag is supposed to be a holster.

I would agree that those pictures are not consistent with current Botkier bags. The lining, interior zipper, and exterior zipper pull are all off. Do you know what season this bag was from? If it is an older bag, they may have been doing things differently at that time from what they do now. Again, I don't know this particular style, so we will have to wait and see what others think about it.

Authentic! The lining is linen without the logo because this is one of the very earliest seasons that Trigger was produced. Another hint that this is a first season Trigger is that the Botkier metal plate is by the hidden pocket at the back, not in its usual spot by the main middle zipper. These typically have the best leather. Good luck!

The seller doesn't indicate its condition and it seems like maybe it's a bit battered, so I guess that accounts for the price? It's lovely!
