Will you ever do an online sample sale? Hayden-Harnett did earlier this year and I was elated to stock up. I'm in Houston and I only get to New York maybe once yearly and I always miss all the good sales. I need those James hobos. lol

I was wondering about this, too. I'm on the opposite coast but can hear that caramel Venice satchel calling my name.

Glad to see I'm not alone! Let's see if we can garner some support for this idea.

^ Oh, I'd be in support of an online sample sale too! I'm not even just on the other coast, but on another continent altogether, so an online sample sale would be great!

I just posted this in the main forum but I'm going to put it here too

I got the trigger moto clutch and its gorgeous! I got it in white with gold hardware. Its the perfect size and I love the long tassles. I thought it would be smooth (because the other trigger bags I've seen were) but the leather is cracked all over - is this normal for the clutches? I have never seen one in real life. I don't mind the look I just wanted to make sure that was how it is supposed to look. Also - since it is cracked i would like to seal it somehow because I feel like if i got anything on it, it would seep into the cracks. Any recomendations on what to use to seal it?

You got the Trigger Moto in Ice, one of my favorites! This leather article is a crackle article meaning the surface has been purposely treated to have a laminate with cracks. Super edgy and definitely unique!
Enjoy, Monica

thanks for the quick response - does that mean I don't have to worry about sealing it or treating it with something before i wear it?

Monica - I have been looking over at RM link and notice he frenzy over the same bag in just diffferent colors. I am not a designer but here is my humble opinion. Perhaps you should have a signature bag that comes out in various colors every season. I think the trigger could be updated. It could be made in the shape that is more frame like – like the James clutch -- perhaps make it smaller than the medium trigger but make even the zippers more functional like the Corinne bag. Have it come out in really cool colors every season -- like the RM MAC clutch in ostrich mint green or cornflower blue lizard, neon pink etc. i.e. how the balenciaga colors inspire such anticaipation every season. Perhaps have a gold chain attached to top. Have it like the trigger in sense of organization style. I love that bag as it greats for airplanes to keep everything organized. Maybe call it the flight bag etc. but once color retired than that’s it --- which also inspires lots of frenzy in the balenciaga people!

Along these lines, I'd love to see some type of longer shoulder strap on the satchel Trigger. Maybe it would need to be "smooshier" to hang properly, but if I could really swing the trigger over my shoulder without worrying about a strap falling or even wear it messenger style it would be the perfect bag for me. I still love the satchel nature of it, but would appreciate the flexibility of swinging it over my shoulder more conveniently when I really need to be hands-free.
