I got to say it is so nice to be able to correspond with a designer. The feedback and ideals is a wonderful marketing tool for any designer. Plus you give us insights to future bags.

Thank you all for your questions about the new Spring Summer 09 collection. I am so excited about all the new styles and the return of the Trigger. We have been working hard on our new site so thanks for your patience! We are hoping to have Spring Summer 09 up on the site by the beginning of next week at the latest :) You can start checking this weekend. I hope you love it! www.botkier.com

Hi Monica, first time buyer of Botkier love the feel and lookof the bags, I was just wondering if the Stevie hobbo was made in orange leather... Just wondering because I found one on ebay and I have not read anyone talk about it but nylon only...

Smile Botkier Sasha in Chocolate Snake
Monica,

I saw the Sasha in Chocolate snake on a retail website (Sold Out) last year and couldn't find it anywhere. I love the color-very similar to the new cocoa. however I really like the snake texture. Do you think you may come out with more sashas in the snake?

Thanks

Monica, thanks for keeping the Sasha around, it's my favorite style. The leather looks so buttery soft. I hope to have one of these in my hot little hands soon! Although I love the orange, I'll probably go for the basic black...you can't have too many black bags! :)

Question How to Clean/Care for Bianca in Grey Snakeskin?
Hi all! Longtime lurker here and I love my Botkiers ;-)

Hi Monica:

I recently bought a lovely used small Bianca in the grey snakeskin. I saw an earlier thread mentioned rumors that they can "yellow." How can one clean this particular finish and remove any yellowing without ruining it? I already love it so...thanks in advance!

Hi Monica! I saw this post about a sample sale in NYC --

http://celebrities.bagbliss.com/mega...chel-in-cocoa/

Wondering if you will ever have a "sample sale" for your fans not living in the US? I am dying for the James tote... especially with that sample sale price!

Oh, I absolutely second this idea! An online sample sale would be great to allow us non-US Botkier fans to get in on the action too!

Dear Monica,

Here beings the dispassionate, professional sounding message:

You are a rare talent. I love your brilliant designs, your fabulous selection of leathers and colors, and your good sense to use talented craftspeople to build your bags (even if not in the US). I have been a fan from afar for several years, and am happy to finally own one of your bags.

Sincerely,
Susan

And now for the passionate part:

Ohmygod, I am so totally in love with my new Venice Hobo in Caramel! Thank you for this fabulous bag, which has all of my office-mates drooling and has me dancing with glee. (Seriously, I did a little dance when I got it. Should have put it on YouTube.) I am so excited to carry this bag, and I know it will be a favorite for years and years to come. You created something that is practical (pockets! key chain!) and uber-stylish (side belting! long tassels!) in the most sumptuous leather. Even my miserly husband agrees that this is a great value for the money...and that's saying something. It's an investment that is reaping dividends of happiness.

This is one amazing bag! I cannot believe I finally own a Botkier. Thank you!!!

Love,
Susan
