Hey All-
Holiday season is around the corner and things are getting so busy around here! The Holiday/ Resort collection is going up on the site in a few weeks so keep checking botkier.com to see all the gorgeous new styles.
The holiday resort collection will also have the much awaited Trigger in medium in a few incredible colors :) This is a limited edition collection and will be available at select department stores such as Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Saks!
The bombay bag was from Holiday/ Resort 06. It was a great bag for us-- we got an incredible response to its luxe shape and edgy detailing. The inspiration for the Bombay was to make a structured bag without adding weight with heavy hardware.
We dont have any plans to remake the Sophie right now but I have so many great designs in the pipeline and I am really excited about my Spring Summer 09 collection. Stay tuned and thanks for taking the time to write to me:)

Dear Monica,

I am looking for a perfect dark purple bag this season and found a used dark purple trigger (in the longer shape rather than Turbo) available for sale. However, I would much rather buy a new purple trigger, if I knew it is coming on your website soon, but must make a decision fast or I will end up without a purple bag! If you could only please hint if trigger is coming in dark purple, I would hold on for it!!

Unfortunately, we are not making the trigger in purple. We have the Morgan Satchel available now in a gorgeous grape and we are making the Sasha in the most beautiful purple you have ever seen with silver hardware. It will be out in January, I would hold out for th purple Sasha :) xoox

Hi Monica,

My trigger is my absolute favorite bag except for the weight. I have a thick black pebbled leather version that I bought in the early 2000's. I love the design but can't use it right now because of the weight as I'm also carrying my 4 month old baby girl!

Can you tell me if the black pebbled leather just happens to be one of the more heavier leathers you've used, and that there's a lighter leather version of the Trigger available?
