I can't recommend a book about the Civil War but if your interested in war and romance I cannot recommend The Bronze Horseman enough. It is based in Russia during the Nazi invasion. It is a beautifully written book, by far my favorite

It is uber creepy and it gave me a nightmare

Joe Hill is Stephen King's son (his name is Joseph Hill King)
He has 3 books
one is short stories
One is called Horns
One is called The Heart Shaped Box
they are twisted
the whole family must be twisted
and I really enjoyed all 3 books

I LOVE Joe Hill. I have signed copies of all his books. Horns has a little drawing of a devil with horns on the signature page. I heard Joe Hill wrote the ending to Stephen King's book 11/22/63. As Steve is well know for his fabulous books with the not so fabulous ending that explains why that one was so good. LOL

I can't wait for Stephen King's next book, Dr Sleep, a sequel to The Shining.


Finished A Face In The Crowd- I was kinda disappointed to find that only 50% of the short was that story. The other 50% is an excerpt from Black House. I must not have read the description correctly. Still for a couple of bucks I would have paid it to read just that story. It was pretty good.
