Yes, I tried Kristen Ashley! Knight was beyond terrible; I couldn't finish it. It was the literary equivalent of grunting. I'm going to give her one more try and read The Gamble.

I don't consider FSoG a BDSM novel at all. Barely even a novel either, but that's another matter.

I'm not sure if this has been recommended yet but Alexander from The Bronze Horseman trilogy is emotional, sexy and hiding secrets. It took me a week to finish all 3 books but it was worth EVERY minute of lost sleep. The book is so powerfully, beautifully heartbreaking and I sat for a good hour after I finished the final book just sobbing because it was over. To just call it an emotional love story is an injustice, it is SO much more!

I had trouble getting into Gabriel's Inferno, so I just stopped reading it on page 145 on my Kindle. It wasn't juicy enough. Julia is a bore and Gabriel is too stuffy and boring too, imo. Does the book get any juicier further in?

I caved and downloaded Effortless and I'm shocked to find I'm really enjoying it much more than I did Thoughtless. Kellan is hotter and Kiera less annoying.

Gabriel's Inferno is the best book I've read this year (so far!). The author is a man!

IMO... The book just drones on and on. It was honestly a waste of my time. One of the worst thus far. I really had high hopes based on Goodreads reviews, but Gabriel was a wuss.

I haven't read the Gamble but plan to give it a try. Grunting, yeah that about sums it up, lol. You feel me?

I recommend Mystery Man for those that love a yummy alpha hero and some humor in their romance. ETA: Ridiculous plot set up you have to get past but I found it worth it.

That's what I figured. Glad I gave up and didn't bother reading the whole 500+ pages.

I'm not sure if I recommended this one yet...On The Island by Tracey Garvis Graves. I thought it was fantastic. It was very different than my usual reads.

I HIGHLY recommend it!

You're welcome, glad you enjoyed them! I have not yet read Easy, sounds like I need to.

Ladies, if you're in the mood for an over the top alpha that falls hard for the heroine, I just finished Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley and Tack is a force to be reckoned with! lol Loved that book, it's 4th (maybe 5th) in a series but I think it would be fine to read it out of order, some of the earlier ones are better than others. I never thought I'd like a hero that had a goatee, tattoos and was leader of a motorcycle gang but I was proved wrong.
