It is HUGE so make sure you have enough time. I hope you find what you are looking for. Have a wonderful time!
Thank you! I will make sure I get there early so I can take my time and enjoy it. I really want some wall art and some Chanel jewelry. I can't wait to see all the amazing things it has!

Good Luck! Happy hunting :)

Maybe this is a dumb question but how reliable is the shipping? What I mean is how can you be sure the items will be shipped esp if paying with cash? I'm excited to go to market too!

It usually is pretty good, although expect delays due to custom's ect, sometimes the language issue can be a problem but sometimes the hotel's can also help with shipping issues. I had a few things shipped from Paris and it took several weeks to get into the USA. Always make sure you ask and keep all receipts with you.

.

I have friend who owns an antique store in LA and they go to Paris Markets twice a year to buy.
His buys come over on a ship in huge crates...sofas etc and can take up to a month to arrive and clear customs.

But I've never waited longer than10 days for a shipment.

Some stalls/shops at the antique markets will NOT take a CC, because of the fees. I take their card home as well as the receipt and have never had a problem. I enjoy those that will ship for me. Doing it yourself can be cumbersome and time consuming.

I am going to Paris tomorrow and I would like to know is the weather really that bad? In my country it is very hot and sunny (Paris is not that far...2 hours with plane) and the weather forecast shows rain and cold weather.

I recommend restaurant La Marmite, 2 Boulevard de Clichy | PARIS 18 - it is in the heart of Pigalle. You can sit by the table on the sidewalk or inside in area with opened wall and watching atmosphere of sin. :) Best time is dinner, the quarter begins to live.
The "Best of" salat - big bowl of fresh vegetables, upper is lot of baked potatoes with garlic and top is variable by wish: salmon, duck, frutti di mare, bacon, french ham, vegetarian choice, egg...fabulous! Not expensive, stylish interior and furniture, fine staff.

And second tip is "parisian must have" - cafe Angelína on Rue Rivoli (near Le Louvre). There are prepares "densest chocollate on the whole World" :) Do you have a cup of hot chocolate and you have to dilute the cream because do not even get out of the cup.

It will be rain, but I hope not for all day, and temperature is for sightseeing ideal. Too hot wether in Paris is unpleasant and all cafes and shops have a roof. :)

Those are drools. That looks delicious. Thanks for posting.

Second the vote for La Maison Angelina for the hot chocolate but I'm not fond of the Mont Blanc. And I love sweets.

Does anyone has any recommendations for a macaron shop that opens on Sunday? I'm going to Paris in August, only 3 days in the weekend, so hopefully many great restaurants don't close during that time of the year.
