Hello,
My advises for your trip : 1- Take a wool coat, a scarve and a pair of gloves. (of course confortable shoes like tennis) 2- Please see my last answer : Louis vuitton consignment shops in paris You can also go to : 1 rue Guisarde 75006 Paris (store Les 3 marches de Catherine B) 4 rue Sabot - 75006 BParis (store Les Ginettes) 3- My favorites is Ladurée You can eat some directly in "Le printemps" shop (level 1 - behind Chanel Jewelry) But for me i rather eat its here : - 16 rue Royale 75008 (8th district) see in sex in the city when Carry was in France - 75 avenue des champs Elysées (Pierre Herme can taste strange... lol) 72 rue Bonaparte (6th district = 75006) You will find a laduree store at 21 rue Bonaparte too ![]() 4 - the must to see Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, The Sacrée Coeur, The Louvre, Cathedrale notre Dame... But you can also walk in the district of "Le Marais" (Station Saint Paul on line 1) see the Place des Vosges. You can shop in this district there comptoirs des cotonniers shops, ted backer, and consigments shops. You can also eat an wonderful ice cream (i know you will come in winter but it s really tasty) to Berthillon 31 rue Saint Louis en L'ile ![]() 5 - You can shop to : Galleries Lafayette and Le Printemps 40 and 64 boulevard Haussman Paris 8 and i recommanded to see all store of Avenue Montaigne. (you will find Vuittonn Chanel, Gucci, Dior,...individual shop with a large range of items) Sorry for the speeling mistakes... I am just a Parisian French girl lol. I hope you will love your trip in Paris ![]() Do not hesitate if you need more details |

Best Vintage is Yikiko at Rue Vielle Du Temple, 4th arrondisment. Other good and cheap vintage strores are located in Marais, around Rue des Rosiers and Rue du Roi de Sicile.

MACARONS!!! Wow. Best I ever had. Ladurée on the Champs-Elysees. Furthermore, Search, like Roo said. I've posted somewhere here (a few days ago) a couple of addresses that you should check out.
Have fun! |

Laduree is an absolute must!!! I ate dinner there with my family and it was really hard because I think tourists normally don't eat there and with the language barrier it was difficult, but the restaurant is magnificent (we dined at the Champs Elysees) one. I recommend trying the marie antoinette tea.
i also recommend visiting Versailles. You will not be disappointed. it is breathtaking. Paris during Christmas is like nothing you've ever seen, it's the height of romance with the lights and it's so magical..especially after a trip to the LV boutique. go to the avenue montaigne and walk in as many boutiques as possible, each one is absolutely gorgeous..Dior was my favorite in the inside. Also, by the Rue de la Paix, at the Opera, I believe nearby are Printemps and Gallieries Lafayette..those are beautful department stores as well. enjoy Paris! |

1. Bring a wool coat, cashmere scarves and leather gloves, boots and ballet flats, shirt dresses and black opaque tights, jeans of course and warm jumpers. Oh and don't forget your umbrella!
2. I don't know much about vintage shops but there's some in Le Marais. 3. The best macoroons are from Ladurée (there's one in Printemps Haussman so you can stop there during shopping as it is one of the greatest department stores in Paris), Pierre Hermé marcaroons are also great and I like those from Paul as well. 4. So many great places to go: Opéra and Boulevard Haussman, Montparanasse, Châtelet les Halles, Le Marais, Les Champs Elysées... If you like museums you can't miss the Louvre, Victor Hugo's house or Le Musée d'Orsay... |

I just got back from Paris yesterday and was really disappointed with the way everyone was dressed. Very plain and drab - mostly jeans, black/grey/browns, nothing special at all. So don't worry about trying to look stylish, just dress warmly.

Just came back from Paris a couple of days ago. A-Ma-Zing! Got everywhere by Metro. Super easy, didn't even have to use my iphone app. Buy your Lourve & Orsay tickets together to save money.
Watch out for pickpockets (and stinky people) on the elevator @ the eiffel tower. Its pretty much guaranteed any pastry shop will be the best you ever had. I went to Lafayette but unless you find something you can't get in the states, I don't recommed spending too much. The exchange rate on the dollar, plus their super high tax can be a little too much. I agree with BagaholicAnon, no one is dressed up. Super casual. I noticed that every girl/woman carries a huge Longchamp bag and wears flats/converse. And the weather was the best! Cold in the morning & night, comfortable in the day. Layers! ALSO! Make sure you use your euro coins if you have them. They're almost impossible to change when converting your money again. I have like 12E in change! To sum it up, best.vacation.ever! |

I was in Paris last month, it was a very good experience, we took the metro the entire trip. I recommend Pierre Herme for macaroons, try the breakfast at Laduree. Versailles is a must you should go there. Fauchon for goodies and pastries. Have fun! And if you want to buy LV i think Paris is the cheapest. Enjoy!

Jules Verne in the Eiffel Tower is good, for around the same price range, Apicius (also 2 star) in the 8th is very good. It is in a gorgeous house--you feel as if you are in a park/more secluded area, even though it is close to the Champ Elysees. I like it because it's haute French cuisine, but not stuffy (and not too modern either).
