My DH and I hve passes, so we go a lot. My (recent) experience has been that off-season has been more crowded than summer. It's probably cause of the economy; people still want to go to WDW, but aren't willing to pay the big bucks to do so. |

I think the sundress will be perfect. Just be sure to wear sunscreen, of course. I wore a maxi dress there when I was there last week and it was perfect. I went on the water rides and it dried really fast. I think I will always wear that when it is warmer. |

I'm sooo excited to be able to join this thread!!! we just booked a last minute to visit Disney in Sept! I'm curious to see where everyone has ADR's for- I've been obsessive about calling again and again to see if there are cancellations so that I can get the ones we want (practically everything is taken!) and have been pretty lucky so far! We got Le Celliar & Chef Mickey's which I'm psyched about! Where is everyone else excited to be eating!!

Is anyone already planning on a Disney Vacation for next year yet? We've promised our daughter we will go to Disney World in the spring, and I'm looking at March right now. Since we'll have a relatively small baby with us too, I don't want to go when it's really hot. I really want to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge in one of the savannah view rooms- will booking it in December be too late? I know I can't book princess lunches/dinners until 90 days out, so I thought I'd go ahead and do it all at the same time then.

just got back from my first ever trip to Disneyland/California Adventures.... sooo much fun!
We only had 2 days to spend there, so hubby and i were running around like chickens with our heads cut off! He hadn't been there since he did Grad Nite as a high schooler. What i learned? If you want to ride the Indiana Jones ride & you don't get a fast pass, it's best to wait right before closing to get in line. I can totally see why people get sooo excited about Disney. I just wish food/drinks weren't so expensive inside. |

Currently working on planning a November WDW trip. Looking at going the week before Thanksgiving (my birthday week). No kids, so we'll likely do 4 days at WDW and then head over to Universal and Seaworld. Since the Magic Kingdom is virtually identical to Disneyland we don't anticipate spending a lot of time there. We also don't really do water parks, so don't need a day there either.
We're figuring : 1 day Magic Kingdom/Downtown Disney 1 day Hollywood Studios area/Downtown Disney or Boardwalk area 1 day Epcot 1 day Animal Kingdom 1 day Universal (really psyched about the coasters! Can skip some rides that I've already done at Universal Hollywood) 1 day Seaworld (been to Seaworld San Diego, so this won't be an exhausting affair) Big debate right now is whether to stay at WDW resort and leave doggie at home or rent a house and bring doggie. We're waiting for the regular season hotel discounts to show up online. |

has anyone here purchased disneyland tickets from ebay? we're headed down to so. cali next month and planning to visit disneyland for the first time. My sister mentioned the price of tickets so i figure i'd look online for discounted tickets and there are so many on ebay, but alot of them are pay now and pickup on the day you're going...plus the sellers require that the tix are returned to them at the end of the day...why is that? and what is fastpass, for those who have been there. tia!

^^ i'm wondering if those people are annual pass holders & let others use them, but want them back after?
oh, and fast pass is a little ticket you can get near the ride. You stick your entry ticket into the machine & get another ticket that tells you "2:30-3:30" or some other time. Anytime after 2:30, you can take your fast pass ticket back to the ride & get in the "fast pass" line and bypass the stand-by line, which saves you a whole bunch of waiting in line on the more popular rides. What DH & I did, was get a fast pass for one ride (say Indiana Jones), ride some other shorter lined rides (haunted mansion), and at 2:30, go get a fast pass for a different ride (splash mountain 4:45-5:45), then go back to Indiana Jones & go thru the fast pass line. However, depending on the ride's popularity, all the fast pass tickets might get pulled early in the day. |

I don't think so. I have an annual pass and my photo is on it and when you enter the park a huge photo shows up on the ticket takers screen. They do look at it. So unless you look pretty close to the passholder I don't think you can get away with it. If you know anyone that lives in SoCal (or even ask around in the ticket line for a local Socal resident) THey are running a deal 3 days for $99. I am not sure how long the deal is good for. I am sure you can find someone willing to do it for you in the ticket line if you give them the cash. |

My SO and I have passes for Disnyland and go every couple weeks. My son loves it there and I turn into a kid there. It's so FUN! Next year, we're planning a trip to WDW.. sometime after the summer so it's not so hot.
