^^^we are big kids too Maria :-)

This past summer we went to Cedar Point in Ohio (I LOVE roller coasters), and when we lived in CA we were always going to Disneyland, Universal, Magic Mountain, Paramount's Great America, MArine World, and other smaller parks. I never get sick of roller coasters.

I'd like to do Cedar Point one more time before we leave....but I don't think I'll have time :-(

you're so lucky to be in CA and moving to FL, both places have so many theme parks/ amusement parks.

when we were in montreal for 4yrs, we bought season passes for la ronde (six flags) every year. now we're back in cambridge, i miss la ronde and it's close proximity to the city (it was literally 20mins drive from our condo to the theme park).

maybe there should be a tpf meet in disney or universal or another theme park *LOL*

We are going to Disney World on February 9TH! We are surprising our kids, they have no idea. I am trying to find cute shoes to wear to walk around DW. I know this should not be an issue, the obvious answer is tennis shoes, but I need cute ones. LMK if you have any suggestions!

That's so funny about Cedar Point, DH is from Cleveland and he has great memories of CP. He really wants to take us there soon!

Thinking of sending my parent to one of the fancy restaurants on resort property this summer for their 30th anniversary. We've always had relatives living in the Orlando area and went a lot as kids! I'm hoping we can go this summer too, my sisters and I have fun! Not 100% sure tho what I will do for my parents. Since they live so close I wonder if they will think it's too touristy!

Try Victoria and Alberts, if it's not out of your budget. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/res...a-and-alberts/

HELP! i need tips. We are going to stay at the Pop Century Resort as i am looking to spend as little as possible on the hotel, since we will be there for 5 nights, 6 days. Since we are military we get in for free, but have to pay for the resort. My DH and mom have never been to DW so I want to stay in the resorts to still "feel the magic".

I am sooo excited!!!!! i can barely contain myself! we are planning to go
30 March till 3 April!

TIA!
How was your vacation? More specifically, did you like the Pop Century resort? We'll be there later this year and we're considering staying there, as Shades of Green is booked solid.

Thanks in advance!

Caxe:

We had to postpone our trip for the week after Thanksgiving. The Air Force deployed my DH to Afghanistan a week before i got home. he will be gone for 7 months. So we are going to wait to go till that week. Which really works out since that is THE BEST week of the year to go.

1. The week with the LOWEST attendance
2. Weather is in between cold and warm
3. All the HOLIDAY decorations will be up and the Characters will be in holiday mode
4. We got our resort for a steal

Me too. Us too. I want to take the kids to DW in June and am looking for deals. Dh wants rides, but I say he needs to go to Cedar Point with a friend as the kids don't do roller coasters (too young), and most any ride makes me barf intensely. I'm all for the mood of the place and the characters.

Who is staying where? Where can I find the best deals and packages?
