Tell me about Summerfest

We just decided to check out Summerfest for a night next week. Has anyone here been? Is it like Lollapalooza? Should I bring a picnic blanket or does everyone just stand? Thanks!

Depends on what stage you hit. My DH and I are usually go to the rock stage, and they have bleachers set up. From what I have seen, the other stages have the same type of set up, so a blanket wouldn't be necessary. It's a good time:)

I haven't been for years. I miss Summerfest - we always had a blast. Are all the stages still free?

I remember being bleachers for pretty much everything. Never brought a blanket in.
