Default Santorini hotel recommendation needed

We will be travelling to Greece in late September. Most of our accomodation is booked, but we are still waffling about a hotel on Santorini. We wish to stay in Oia, with a view of the caldera, but can't make up our minds about which hotel.

Anyone have any suggestions for me?

Thanks a lot!

No suggestions for Oia, but Thira is a nice town to stay in and is busier in the evenings. I stayed in Villa Manos (inexpensive, but a very nice place). There are buses running from Thira to Oia all day.

Most of the hotels in Oia looked very nice, but I think the ones right on the cliffs are quite expensive.

If you have a budget in mind I can look it up for you. I bought the 100 best hotels in Greece guide but it is in Greek so just tell me a budget and what is important to you: spa, pool etc and I will check my guide!

Thanks Cyprus. We're probably looking for a mid-range hotel. Price isn't so much a factor as the fact that we have young twins - so must accommodate families. We would like a pool.
