Default Las Ventanas Hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico

Has anyone stayed at the Las Ventanas Hotel in Los Cabos in Mexico??

DH and I are trying to plan a trip down to Mexico for the Labor Day long weekend and we want to take our Yorkie with us. Google search pulled up this hotel as one of the luxury dog-friendly resorts in Mexico. Look, they even supply a cabana for your dog!

Just wondering if anyone has been to this and what your experience is? Also, does anyone have information about bringing my dog into Mexico? Thanks!

Is this where they filmed The Heartbreak Kid?

Resort looks fabulous. You might want to check out this one as well. I plan to stay here next time.

Regarding your dog-we just traveled with ours to Europe and every country is different. You'll need to look at the embassy website for Mexico. I think the standard is rabies within the last year, licenses, good health certificate from your vet within 5 days of departure. But definitely check out the site and make sure you get the paperwork printed out and to your vet. Getting back into the US is pretty easy and just requires the license and rabies vac paper.

Also we got our dog a pet passport-we thought it would be useful but pretty worthless to customs. There should really be an official one!
