Default Las Vegas: Which Hotel is better...Imperial Palace or Riviera?

I am going on a budet vacation to Las Vegas. I am going to go to an older, cheaper hotel so that I will have more spending $$$$. Which hotel is better, Imperial Palace or the Riviera?

I have never been before, so any input will be helpful.

If I had to chose between the two, I would go to Imperial Palace. I think the location is a little better.

I second that. I just stayed there last weekend for the same reason. (to save $$). It was in a perfect location. In between the Venetian and Paris and right across the street from Cesar's Palace. If you can get a good deal at the Flamingo, I suggest you try that one too since its next to the Imperial Palace. Good luck!

You might want to see if you can get a good rate at Bally's, also a great location

The very first time I went to Vegas I stayed at the IP, yes it's a basic hotel but the location is pefect and lets face it you are hardly ever in your hotel anyway

Have a great trip
