I'm so happy I saw this post! We're going to LV for our honeymoon in August and I've narrowed my hotel search down to The Venetian and Mandalay Bay! Have a great time!

Thanks everyone. We stayed at the venetian because it was close to the wynn, where we saw spamalot. It is very nice, but I still like The Hotel (at Mandalay Bay) better.

It has two complete seperate rooms, which works better for us, since I am a morning person and DH is a night owl. The pool area is much better there too.

What a beautiful room! I'm guessing that this is not one of the standard rooms, is it? Because if it is - then I'm gonna make DH take me to Vegas soon! Haven't been to Vegas since I was a kid

^^ I had a "standard room" at the V and it looked just like that one... all the rooms are suites.. .! It's fab! They have some specials for like $159/nt as well!
