Yeah, I guess most hostel websites are a little... cheap-looking. Haha. You can Google Chicago hostels or something and you're bound to find a couple more.

^I looked at them last night and I was a little iffty. LOL. For some reason, I don't know if I trust them. It's just...yeah. But I'm checking out hotwire for some hotels, the downfall is that they don't tell you what hotel it is until you finish paying for it...bummer!

Try to go to betterbidding.com. They'll help you "guess" which hotel you'll get and it's usually correct.

If you don't find any hotels that are around your price range, try looking again at hostels and Google for reviews about particular ones.

^I checked out the hostel and talked to them. I think I will pass on them. LOL. I'm willing to spend over $100 on a room (since I'm returning one of my recent handbag purchases ). But it's fine

I just came back from Chicago and I stayed at the Amalfi Hotel. It was nice. They offer a free continental breakfast every morning + from 5:30-7:00 free cocktails in the lounge. The location was close to the train.. about a four block walk. You could also walk to some of the nearby shopping.

I went to Chicago last fall and stayed at Hotel Sax, it was AMAZING!! They have a bowling alley on one of the floors, an entertainment room, and Crimson Lounge is located in it's lobby! Lindsay Lohan's girlfriend was DJing there when I went and they were both staying at the hotel. It's a great location, I was able to walk everywhere from there and didn't have to drive/cab once! They also have this "House of Blues" buffet brunch across the street, they sing gospel music as you eat brunch($40/all you can eat)...kinda crazy but really fun.

Have fun!!

I finally found and booked a hotel! I got an amazing offer! I booked one at the typical Holiday Inn and it's $140 a night but it was buy one get one night for FREE plus an additional 10% off!

So I think that's a pretty good deal

Thanks everyone for the help!

thanks sharkbait for recommending the ritz Carlton. I just finished a weekend stay and everything was fabulous. Especially enjoyed afternoon tea!

Has anyone stayed at the Dana Hotel and Spa? I am going to Chicago in a few weeks and found a great deal to stay there, but before I book, I was wondering if anyone had a review?

I've stayed at the Dana!

First of all the location is great!! It's right in the middle of downtown in a great area. The hotel is nice. The style is modern. I found the service to be wonderful and it was a great deal overall. I would highly recommend it!
