Default Amsterdam.- places to shop eat and chill

please recommend some places to shop in terms of homeware and fashion.

ALso nice places to catch a bite for a vegetarian.
My DH is there for a few days.

The best shopping can be found on the 1) the Kalverstraat, 2) Leidsestraat, 3) PC Hoofdstraat (the last for high end like Chanel, LV, etc..)
There aren't a lot of homewares in the center of the city and it depends on how much he's willing to travel or where he's staying but there are some unique homewares shops on the Overtoom which is a short tram ride away from the Kalverstraat and the Leidsestraat and literally around the corner from the PC.
On the Overtoom there's also a pretty good Veggie Ethiopian that my vegan friend loves called Addis Adaba.
