Zac Posen Aurora Frame Bag

All of the designer handbag houses have been releasing framed handbags which are meant to add a classy elegant touch for your fall/winter wardrobe. Zac Posen's Aurora was a hit when spotted on Rachel Bilson in a lush purple hue. For fall, the Zac Posen Aurora Frame Bag in espresso grained leather and gold metallic trim is sultry, sassy, and sophisticated. There is gold hardware, a clasp fastening on the top, and lush brown suede lining. Totally fab. If you are still on the hunt for a structured bag, this should definitely be a viable contender. It has a nice shape, but I don't know enough about Zac Posen bags yet to spend $1,500. For now, for that much money, I'll stay with designers I am more familiar with.

Nice shape, but not sure I like the texture (or so it seems from the photo) nor the color. Seems washed out.

THeres just something about this that isen't right for me, I don't know if it's the colours or the shape. Maybe the stripe at the bottom in gold is a little too much.

It may be just the photo but I don't think the materials look all that "luxurious" eithe.r

I love the shape too and the gold but not sure about the leather, as others have said maybe it is just the pic not showing off the leather to its best advantage.

I have the same one that Rachel Bilson has - wine colored. I love the bag. I get lots of compliments. I don't like this one as much.

i love framed bags but they can't outdo the previous model as novosibirsk rightly puts it

The gold stripe at the bottem seems to make it shorter and stouter and not so nice :( I love the Alexis, I have it in grey, and my mum just bought the Aurora in the cream! This new version is not as nice imho. To be honest I think the quality of the leather is very nice, though probably not the 'best' designed bags in terms of use (though they look nice).
