Default Vera Bradley Tropical Silk Limited Edition Kelly

Vera Bradley Tropical Silk Limited Edition Kelly

The Vera Bradley trend is huge in some parts of the country. Anyone sitting there shaking their head up-and-down thinking about Sorority girls who carry them? Maybe you are one of them. It's cool. I never fully got on the Vera bandwagon, but I never completely disliked her bags. One of my best friends since we were merely 10 pointed me towards a new Vera bag today that she is head-over-heels in love with. Best part is that the price is more than affordable when it comes to the world of handbags. The Vera Bradley Tropical Silk Limited Edition Kelly shows off a retro-floral print with an oval wooden handle. Just like the moon (on some nights at least), the bag is a crescent shape. On the inside there is pink logo lining and three pockets. This bag is large enough for me to again confirm that it is worth the price. Sizing up at 15" x 8.5" x 1.5", this bag is available through Vera Bradley for $69.

How adorable and affordable!
It's nice to find fun bags that won't break the bank.

I would say that this bag looks as though it's quite good value, at that price.

Like you, Megs, I can't say that I either love it, or dislike it. It is, perhaps, a little too chintzy for me; currently, I prefer a few, 'randomly' scattered blooms, or an abstract floral, to a busy, repeating pattern. Also, I think that patterns generally give the game away, when it comes to inexpensive fabrics, as they can look a little crude.

I like the turquoise background and the colours in general. But having grown up surrounded by antique furniture, I think I'm a bit of a wood snob (or perhaps 'connoisseur' is a nicer way of putting it! ) and IMO, slightly better quality, richer coloured wood (perhaps Cherry) could have been used for the handle (but, of course, that would have driven the price up a bit).

So, there you have the reasons why I am doomed forever, to only like medium to high end items. In a way, I wish I couldn't tell the difference!

It may be the cutest Vera Bradley bag I've seen, but I just can't find it in my heart to love that brand. It's too busy and feels like my grandma's quilts from the 70s.

Vera Bradely was so confusing to me before i knew the Brand ! I would always see these bags around town ( I am in FL) and didnt know who created them , i never saw them at the mall ... but the helpful girls and guys here helped me identify them ...I am not a fan , IMHO they look like diaper bags that one is cute , not for me but cute for Vera ... I will stick to Gucci albeit

Oh man. My campus scene is flooded with Vera Bradley. I dont hate or love her but I got to admit, the style is cute. I'm a little biased against floral print though.

I love vera bradley's. They are great when running to the beach and park. For me the pattern can't be too busy. Would love to see this bag in other fabrics.

I've never been a fan of VB. I just can't get into the fabric quilted look. This bag is best one I've seen but I won't be buying it.

I love vera bradley. Not all of her patterns are floral. The discontinued Chanticleer is my absolute fave. I got this backpack for about $30 on eBay a while back. Some day I will get a photo of my whole collection and post it for ya.
