Default Tods Boomerang East/West Bag
Tods Boomerang East/West Bag

Not to continue to bore you all with me and my moms bedding and house shopping, but it is consuming my life. My mom and I are on the hunt for all interior furniture and bedding, which is hard when you have our taste. Simplicity is what we are searching for, no royal flowers etc. Not that having ornate decorations is bad, it is just not us or the house design. This transfers into my handbag style. I always find the simple understated designs to catch my attention rather than ornate complex designs. The staple designer of understated beautifully handcrafted bags is Tods. Not always producing 'it' bags, Tods sticks to clean designs and very long lasting handbags. The new Tods Boomerang East/West Bag draws attention to the brass oversized logo ring while the soft grained leather body provides sophisticated elegance. Rings attach to the leather shoulder straps and a flap top tucks under the focal ring of the handbag. Available in either black or porcelain (off-white) for $1275 through eLuxury.

I really like the simplicity of Tods bags too. Their leather is always so wonderful. I like this one alot; very different but still understated.

Yes, this bag is definitely gorgeous. The brass ring reminds me of the Dolce & Gabbana designs.. it looks great here!

Nicer as a clutch, IMO.

I think the overall impression is somewhat spoiled by the rather tinny looking rings attaching the handle.

Without the handle, I think it would have a touch of the Mini Novak about it (only bigger, of course!).

^ I am with you. Not quite sure about this. Agree with chloehandbags it looks more appealing as a clutch.

I am huge Tod's fan although some designs are not really my cup of tea. But I love those that are to death.

I love Tod's bags. I think this bag shows they are trying to be a little more edgy - rather then the usual conservative type Tod's bags we are used to seeing.

I like it and would buy it - on sale!

It's not my favorite Tod's design, but still very nice.

Tods bags are so well made! I'm not too thrilled about this design tho' the brass is like a huge ghetto earring.

Sorry!

Exactly. I really like this bag. It looks chic and the leather is great, but it's just a little too expensive.

Looking at the photo, I'm having trouble figuring out how to get into the bag?
