Metallics have been totally hot for a few seasons now. From matte metallic to bold metallic, another metallic is here for spring, only this time, it is silver rather than any shade of gold. Not a brushed silver, a shocking, bold, in-you-face, look into my mirror and see your reflection, silver. We all know the Louis Vuitton Miroir handbags have made a huge hit, and now many designers have followed with the new mod color for spring and are implementing them on their handbags. What do you think? Totally yay or nay? Where would you wear this bold silver color?

HATE the mirrored metallics...I just did a huge blog entry on them. (Plug plug plug). I think the only pieces that sort of work for me are the little clutches.

I ABSOLUTELY love metallics!!!! Especially LV, Gucci ( gold and silver) I love the Fendi shown in the photos. I need to know where I can get one of those puppies!

I'm not a huge fan (as for metallics I prefere bronze), but I like the two down on the right.

I really like the Chanel.

I like metallics, but, like most of the posters, I prefer slightly subtler finishes.

I think flat, mirrored surfaces are only as beautiful as the things, or people, around them and I also worry about them blinding motorists!

Currently, this is about as mirrored as I go:

I love them to look at but I'm not sure if I'd carry a big piece for day to day wear. I think a small metallic bag is perfect for going out though.

Never like metallic bags, especially the LV miroir bags. However, chloehandbags' silver bag is absolutely gorgeous and stuning!. I guess the good look has a lot to do with the cute design and size of bag. Whoever the designer is defintely knows how to bring out the best in silver/metallic bags.
