Maybe it’s just because my past weekend was filled with nights out and cute (if I do say so myself) outfits, but this week, I can’t help but be drawn to clutches that I could possibly implement in my fall wardrobe. Since I’m in my early 20s, work from home, and live in a party town with a bunch of booze hounds, I end up using my clutches just as much (if not more than) I use my everyday totes and hobos. I have managed to curate a small collection of them that get used over and over again, and I’ve got my eye out for more, as always. And lately, my eye has fallen on the Rebecca Minkoff Three-Zip Rocker. And how could I resist it? This little bag is just so freakin’ sparkly. ![]() I come across a lot of bags I like while writing for this blog, but just because I like a bag doesn’t meant I’d actually consider buying it – that’s much more rare. But this bag? This bag is calling my name in a serious way. It’s a little smaller than its cousin, the Rebecca Minkoff Three-Zip Clutch, and looks just about perfect for my needs. The most obvious plus to this bag is its finish – the sparkly, glimmering gunmetal is perfection. Per-fection. It’s not too blingtastic to be cool, and the brooding shade of silver is in keeping with this season’s dark, industrial trends. It’s a tiny piece of glam rock that’s perfect for ferrying around my Blackberry. Speaking of size – that’s also perfect. The last thing you want on a cool night out is a big bag swinging from your hip, and this bag is the perfect size. Your stuff won’t bulge out, but it won’t take over your outfit entirely, and it’s going outside pockets to hold your ID so you don’t have to dig for it at every bar. Yes, people. I have thought this out. My clutches? They have to meet certain criteria. And this one absolutely, positively does. The price ain’t bad, neither. Buy through Luna Boston for $195. Although I love RM, and this bag is cute, there is nothing that extra-special about it for me...
Am curious to see the new "bird" lining-- |

So, are zippers and studs the trend this year?
If so, I am glad since my wallet will be safe this year.
