Default Rebecca Minkoff Love Letters Shoulder Bag
From time to time, I see a Rebecca Minkoff bag that I’m not totally fond of, but it’s a rare thing. And indeed, today is not one of those times.

The Rebecca Minkoff Love Letters Shoulder Bag is functional, on trend, and completely appealing. It must be a fairly daunting task for a fairly young designer to be expected to come up with new shapes and ideas for every season with a fairly rabid following salivating over what may come next, but Ms. Minkoff has pulled it off once again.

I must say that this bag at first seemed slightly more trend-conscious than I’ve come to expect of Minkoff’s bags, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. In this case, it’s not bad at all – the purse still has the simplicity that we all know and love, with a slight bit of edge thrown in for good measure.

But because of the brand’s tendency towards simplicity, we don’t get anything too over-the-top, which is actually quite welcome. There are plenty of bags covered from tip to tail in zippers and fringe this season, and having a more muted option that still super luxe is something that I’m sure many women will appreciate. Buy through ShopBop for $495.

This is actually okay and not boring as almost all of her bags are. I like how she did something a bit different with the zippers from other "zipper bags".

don't like the zippers or the stringy things hanging off!

I know a lot of people hate zippers and tassels, but I love this stuff--it's fun!

I'm torn with this one...I didn't like it at first, then I did, and now I'm not sure. I don't know what it would look like stuffed with all my things since it is a flat bag. And ever since someone on the Rebecca Minkoff forum mentioned the front looked like an angry face, that's all I can see when I look at it.
