Default Michele Kylie Hobo
I just keep getting more and more curious about Michele handbags. They’re not reinventing the wheel here, but from what I’ve seen so far, their handbag line is one of the most well-done expansions of an existing brand that I’ve seen in a while. I may not love all of their bags, but I’ve yet to see one that’s anywhere near bad, and some of them are quite attractive indeed, and they’ve all been at very reasonable prices. I very much hope that they keep this whole handbag thing going.

Their object of my latest affections is the Michele Kylie Hobo, which means *gasp* I like a brown bag!

I never thought I’d be saying this, but the key to this bag for me is the combination and juxtaposition of the shiny, distressed, orange-y brown that makes up the body with the more traditional shade that’s found in the straps. I’m having a bit of problem deciding why it is that I like this so much, or if I even should, but I kind of do. In an Urban Cowboy sort of way, you know?

In fact, if you had told me that this bag was made by Frye or a similar type of company, I would have batted an eyelash. It has a sort of rustic-hipster feel to it that is very popular right now. I could see it with a pair of super dark skinny jeans, a mens-style plaid shirt with a belt, and ankle boots for fall, can’t you? If that’s your type of look, then this is your bag. You can thank me later. Buy through Saks for $595.

I just love this bag. Really, I do! But it looks so much like a Tano style right up to their "crunch leather", that I'd probably run right out and get a Tano for about $300 less. It's a great looking bag, though.

Love the hobo style, but would prefer a different colour combination.

I like it, but it's probably because it copies a Michael Kors design, which happens to be the bag I'm carrying right now.
