![]() Today is the day of Louis Vuitton on tPB. Another limited edition over at Vuitton is the Onatah leather. Here are some stats on this line (courtesy of the lovely tPF members!!) The Louis Vuitton Onatah comes in two shapes and two colors of leather, aubergine- purple, moka- chocolate color and the shapes are pochette Onatah and Onatah. A major pro to this limited edition line is it does not need to be cared for much there's no vachetta on it. My pick is the gorgeous Louis Vuitton Onatah Leather Pochette. While I usually do not do this, I have to let eLuxury speak about this bag (the description is killer and really lets you know all of the beauty in this line!)
What are your thoughts on this new and beautiful line? The Pochette is said to be bigger than regular LV pochettes, but if the leather is a supple as it seems and the color as beautiful as it looks- I'd go for it. Available via eLuxury for $1260. |

I've been debating whether this bag is worth the $$ ... does anybody know if the leather will get scratched up easily?

I love the color of the bag, but it isn't something that I would carry personally.

I just got the bigger one last week in plum/purple and I'm not loving it completely yet. The buckle on the straps is bugging me and the bag itself droops a bit in the middle but the leather and color are just to die for. The leather looks like it can survive anything. I just lugged it through 13 hours of travel from Austria to Germany to Iceland and got cought in the rain for 15 minutes while looking for my car in the airport parkinglot and even after all that it still looks like brand new.

Love the look of the leather on the LV Onatah...I first saw it on LV's website, but have not had a chance to see it in person...not sure if I would drop that kind of $$ on it, but both colors are so gorgeous I wouldn't be able to decide which to get anyway!!

I loved this bag when I first saw it on the website. When I later checked it up close at the LV store, I was kinda disappointed at the shade of plum. It was rather too dark for my liking. It would have been perfect if it were a shade or two lighter. The shape, the way it droops and the size of it are perfect for day or evening.

That bag is gorgeous! I don't have the $ to spend on it though. *sigh*

I loved the pochette when I first saw the pics, and ordered it in moka from my LV store. But when I got it, I found the size disturbing - to big to be a pochette, to small for a hobo, so I returned it. But I have to say the leather is amazing, and I would have loved it, had it been a bit smaller. The Pochette shape this big makes it look odd, since it is very wide, imo.

It sure is pretty and I love the color but I'm not a fan of monogram. I tried it (have a closet half full of monogram LV) and can't get myself to carry it for more than a day.
