Default Linea Pelle Lola Medium Satchel
I’ve been eying the Linea Pelle Lola Medium Satchel for some time now. I got a chance to see the larger Lola in person back when we partnered with Linea Pelle for a great giveaway. At that point the Lola was a new design. While it’s not new anymore, I love the smaller version – love!

So where do I start? The leather, obviously the leather. The supple grain navy leather is absolutely luscious on this bag. If you can tell that leather looks divine by simply looking at an image, you know it is going to be that much better in person. Goldtone hardware looks absolutely fabulous against the dark navy leather. A couple pull tags and buckle straps add just a bit of flare to the bag. Not a lot, but enough to draw the eye. The 16″ double handles with a 6½” drop means you can carry in your hand or over your shoulder. This is a great day-to-day bag as well as would be perfect for a relaxing night out. Buy through Bluefly for $357.

Why are people wearing satchels on their shoulders? I mean, a satchel is not a shoulder bag, and I can't imagine carrying a bag with a 6.5" drop on the shoulder--to me that's an armpit bag. But, hek, to each her own....

That aside, this bag doesn't do much for me. I've seen similar ones from other designers that I would choose over this one. The zipper on front bugs me because of the reddish/brownish edges, which to me looks cheap. And I don't care for the color. HOWEVER, I can see why others would like this bag--the design, the leather, the price. It's just not for me.

It is okay to me too. But I probably will spend my money on something else since this bag is nothing special.

It's quite bland. I mean I often hear how amazing LP leather is, but it's like every single bag I've seen from her is less than okay.

Knowing Linea Pelle, the leather must be really soft and supple. I think a satchel should have just a bit more structure, but that is me.

Not bad, maybe better in person? Judging by the photo, it doesn't seem to offer as much as the price tag. (never mind the retail price is $595)

It is nice. I like the cobbled leather.

Not my cup of tea but I do like LP bags.

I think it's okay. But I need to see it IRL first.
