Interesting, this is a very interesting bag. I am trying to figure out if I like this Kooba or if it misses the mark. So, I am going to break down the bag and try to figure out if I like this bag or not. No matter what, I have to admit the Kooba Isabella Saddle Bag boasts detailing that you don’t see every day. The first thing that made me stop and look at this bag a bit more was the color. ![]() The soft, lavender color is gorgeous. I am not really sure it is a color I would rock during the Fall, but it is a great bag for Winter, Spring and even Summer. In typical Kooba fashion, the leather is downright supple and I am sure it will age gracefully. The size and shape I can totally work with. However, my hang up is with several flaps and clasps throughout the bag. For me, it is just a bit over the top. Clearly the bag has plenty of room for whatever you might need, but I would really have to be able to embrace the flaps in order to make this bag mine. Buy through Bluefly for $327. I love lavender, but not this shade...not on this bag.
That aside, IMO Kooba always seems to find a way to make any bag a bit different and original, even when there isn't much that hasn't already been done, by adding it's own twist to just about any style. I love that about Kooba.

I don't like the tie thingy that attaches the right side to the left. Pieces of leather like that always end up curling up when I have them on a bag.

This bag is just okay-looking.

Not crazy about color. But the style is OK.

I would love this Kooba in a neutral shade of brown....or black. It's gorgeous! Plus....I don't think I have ever seen a new Kooba bag under $400 for quite a long time.

Quite like the style, I think it would work better in a different color though.

It's nice. The leather looks really nice though!! But I agree, if it was a brown or black it'd be way cuter!

It looks like purple left in a shop window for a few weeks.
