What’s surprising about the move is that instead of incorporating them into one of the many lines that he designs, Lagerfeld chose to release a one-off fine jewelry piece under his own name, sold via NET-A-PORTER.
The collar features rows of small black diamonds, totaling 40 carats, with a central emerald that weighs in at just over 22. In case all that sounds just a little bit too decadent for you, take a bit of comfort in knowing that “a percentage” of the profits from the collar will be donated to CLIC Sargent, a children’s cancer charity.
